But here is a twist on it. Will Worsham of Late Nite Lawyer has a pretty unique radio personality relationship with Kevin & Liz’s Million Dollar Morning Show at Alice 95.5 here in Springfield. Every 4th Thursday, Will does a dial-a-lawyer radio show with Kevin & Liz where they usually discuss the current legal issues of celebrities. Fortunately for good ‘ol K.Ho, Will’s timing couldn’t be better… K.Ho has a few issues himself, other than the obvious. I think the press conference explains all.

The intro of Late Nite Lawyer! I’ve been so excited about it and I am having fun producing it, but we ran into a little snag that was not realized during taping. The air conditioning blower vents that were on inside the club picked up big time on the camera mic and I couldn’t figure out how to get it right in Final Cut Express. So, I am working on it, but I knew it would take some time to get it right. And as a good friend has always said to me…it’s better to have a no-so-great piece out than nothing at all. So with the time deadlines that were already set, I went ahead and posted the video anyway and we’ll work on the sound in the next episode. Submit your questions to the Late Nite Lawyer site, make sure that it’s catchy and creative, because those questions that are answered on-air will receive a free Late Nite Lawyer t-shirt!

But today, we video taped the first episode of Late Nite Lawyer at Icon Nightclub here in Springfield. Thank you, Randy, for letting us do this. I felt like it went so smooth and things couldn’t have gone any better. Well, I take that back…the sound could Nightclubbe better, but we’ll work on it. It’s an amateur video podcast, what do you expect? This was my first attempt at going at it on my own, (I’m not spilling any beans here, Late Nite Lawyer knows this is my first gig) as a Jessica Hickok production. I still had my trusty sidekick, Paul, there to help me out and whether it be independently or together, we still make a good team. It’s also nice to have the support. Keep watching for more details as I offer more and more Web 2.0 consulting services.

Here’s the deal, my good friend, Will Worsham, is an attorney here in Springfield. I’m sure you’ve heard about Missouri Traffic Tickets, heck some of you have probably used it many times to get out of a traffic ticket, right?! Together, Will & I are launching a new site called Late Nite Lawyer. It’s a video podcast series, where Will answers your legal questions that have been e-mailed/submitted to the site. We have a deadline of getting the first video posted by Saturday, September 8, 2007. Initially, we are looking at posting a video once every 10 days and judging by the interest we’ve had so far in the site, it may be more often than that. This is not your typical “dial-a-lawyer-during-the-6 o’clock-news” about your legal issues…all so that they can pitch you a bill of goods. This is real, this is your chance to ask an attorney your most pressing legal questions. And at one point in our lives, we’ve all needed some free legal advice. The video podcasts will be distributed in many places, YouTube being one of them. I will post an update once we’ve got all those details worked out this week. I am really excited about this!
