32…No More Magical Birthdays

Everyone gets one chance at a magical birthday and no matter what, your magical birthday will only happen before age 32 and you only get one.
So now that I’m on the brink of turning 32 in three days, this oppressive thought of no more magical birthdays is really nagging at me. I’m not so sure why it is so bothersome, considering my magical birthday happened when I turned 6 years old. Maybe it’s because my youngest son just turned six a few days ago and he won’t have his birthday until he is 31 years old. Or maybe, just maybe, I’m getting older and I’m reverting to mythical, magical birthday fantasies like a child would. Nonetheless, I’m sure this post will make me sound utterly crazy.
You see a magical birthday is when you turn the same age as the date of your big day. For example, I was born on January 6th, therefore my 6th birthday was my magical birthday. My son’s birthday is on December 31st. Therefore he won’t have his magical birthday until he turns 31. (Hopefully you get it from here). Obviously…there are only 31 days or less in a month, so you will only have your magical birthday before you turn 32.
Now that I’ve re-read this post before hitting publish, I realize how ridiculous it sounds. Oh my gosh, Jessica, snap out of it and grow up already!

Having re-read it, you still published it? Hmmm…
Yes, it does sound ridiculous.
What happens on this ‘magical’ birthday? Supposedly?
Help me understand your crazy.
(Feel the love.)
Yes, I published it anyway. And how the heck should I know what happened on my magical birthday?! I was six years old for crying outloud. Nonetheless, I’m sure it was magical.
Sorry…I don’t explain my crazy. Otherwise you wouldn’t feel the love. :p
Well, you could look at the year date . . .so now you have your 78th birthday to look foward to.
