First Day of Third Grade and Kindergarten August 25, 2009
Today was an exciting day in the Hickok household. The first day of school included the traditional on-the-front-porch photo.
I was a little agitated with myself considering I had left my good camera at the office the day before, so I had to take the pictures on my BlackBerry. But I got over it and filled with pride when my oldest said to me, “don’t worry Mom, I will take good care of him.”
He must have known that I was nervous, probably more so than my new little kindergartner.
I’m not so sure what is up with the crazy face smiles, nonetheless, this photo makes me smile.
