I’ve gotten sucked in to that show “Rock of Love” with Bret Micheals on VH1. It’s just another crazy “Bachelor” show where he picks some rock star groupie to be his girlfriend. The show is actually over, but they are running the reunion show and they are asking Bret what he thought of Heather’s anger in the very last show when he didn’t choose to be with her. His theory about Heather being so angry after he rejected her was that “if you’re not angry or upset over something like this, than that’s just a sign that you don’t give a crap”. That’s actually a great theory in my opinion.
You know, I get angry over what others might consider “stupid stuff”. Obviously. You’ve seen a lot of it just posted on this blog! Being such a passionate person for the things and situations in my life, when I get the short end of the stick, offended or hurt, then I get upset and angry over what others might consider to be stupid. But if I didn’t upset, then it would only go to say that I don’t give a crap. Would you rather me not give a crap…or get upset knowing that I care so much? I wonder which would be the lesser of two evils?
I’m not trying to be philosophical here, just honest. At least you will always know if I truly care.
