6 Things I Don’t Twitter About

by Jessica Hickok on May 19, 2009

There are a few subjects that I believe should be sacred.  Sacred meaning, not blogged about, Twittered or Facebooked.  They are loosely based rules, but these six things I try hard not to do or share online:

  1. Discussions of politics.
  2. Religion.  Yes, I firmly believe in John 3:16.  Christian or not…God loves us all.
  3. Give out specific personal info.  Birth dates, addresses, full names besides my own, social security numbers, real phone numbers–you get my drift.
  4. The fight I just had with my husband or the contents of an angry e-mail I just sent to my mother.
  5. What I ate for lunch.  (Now, what I am drinking….that’s whole ‘nother story).
  6. Cuss words.  WTF?! Not cool Christian Bale.

Just some general rules I try to abide by and some I wish that others would.

And yet, you just blogged them? :)

Actually, I can agree with you on most of this, although the cursing doesn’t bother me even though I don’t curse much except in extremely stressful situations.
