Wake Me Up When September Ends

I don’t really mean that. I actually like the month of September. It is the month of August that I have issues with. September leads into my favorite season, fall, where October is actually my favorite month of all time. It’s just that this September has been an unusually hard month for me. The good news is that Ty got a new job! So things should be looking up, right? I think it is just the whole “change” thing that I’m not ready for. Ty and I had such a good system with who gets the kids breakfast…who dresses them…who takes them and who picks them up from school, etc. But now with Ty’s new schedule starting with a crazy 5 week training session, everything changes. I just want to get back into the swing and have a routine for the daily grind. So tonight Ty and I were talking about the direction we were going in life, and we heard Green Day’s song and silly as it may seem, I found comfort in the lyrics. Oh well, as they say, that which does not kill us only makes us stronger. <Yawn>. I’m headed off to sleep.
