My little second grader came home from school the other day with this Christmas list in hand. I got to looking at it and all I could think was “oh my, I’m going to have to take out 2nd mortgage on the house just to cover the oldest’s Christmas list”. Now don’t get me wrong, I refuse to spoil my kids and Santa ain’t rich baby so I hope he’s happy with #8 on the list, because that is what is in Santa’s budget.
At the same time he handed me this lavish Christmas list, I also got the following Happy Gram signed by his teacher. So how could you not want to buy the kid everything on his wish list??
Uh, then again, maybe you didn’t hear the chicken nuggets story. And I don’t think that second graders should have a cell phone, Blackberry or not.
